This week I want to know, what is your all time favorite movie?

My personal favorite and the movie I never get sick of watching is... She's Out of My League !!!!
This movie is all about the rating system. Can a woman thats a 10 on the attractive scale date a guy that's only a 6? This movie is the funniest thing you can honestly watch a hundred times and not get sick of. The main couple of the movie is made up of one FINE woman Alice Eve and a hilariously quirky guy Jay Baruchel.

All of the characters bring something to the movie. The best friends of Kirk the male lead are hysterical and bring the typical bro into the film. The females in the movie are also amazing. Molly, the female leads best friend is rude and bitchy and amazing. Kirks mom is Kitty from That 70's Show!! But the best characters would be Marnie, Kirks ex-girlfriend and Ron her new boyfriend pictured below.

Honestly to know this film is to love it, and you should not only watch it once but a few times. It's for guys and girls old and young and really pokes fun at the system we create for ourselves when it comes to dating and love.
This movie has been my favorite since I first saw it in theaters. Now after you rent this movie or find it on netflix please leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite movie that you never get sick of is!!

We all have one...
                                               ... What's your favorite???

I'm gonna change this up and review one of my favorite shows, and something YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING!!

Sabrina the Teenage Witch... is a beyond magical show that was based on a comic book about a teenage witch, obviously. Premiering in 1996 the show was on friday nights along side Boy Meets World (if that doesn't make you love it already). It was a hit duh, and was a huge success in my eyes. It also had seven freakin seasons!!!

I'm going to tell you why this show is fabulous and why you should probably watch it right now. The show is about a witty fast-talking sixteen year old who finds out she's a witch and has to deal with; a new highschool, living with her aunts.. in a magical house, a new boy, making friends, and handling her new powers.

Throughout the seasons you see her grow as a young women, where she makes the classic mistakes like doing magic that isn't perfected... doing spells around mortals and she always ends up getting the talking cat Salem or her aunts advice about how to get out of the crazy messes.

Having four main best girlfriends throughout the shows run you see how her dynamic changes and her goals change as a witch and a college student, to a working girl, all while falling in love. The comedy truly lies in the witchness of the show.. There is always a distant relative with a new problem to solve or a mixing between mortal and magic that requires a new potion spell or an even crazier escape plan.

The ultimate reasons for watching this show are as followed;

  1. You can watch her grow, change, and fall in love over seven consecutive seasons
  2. Her main romantic interest Harvey is a total babe
  3. Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda rock!!
  4. There is so much 90's in the show it is amazeballs
  5. THE MOST IMPORTANT.. you can what every episode, every season, free online at Hulu.com

you're welcome now go... GO watch this amazing show from the very first episode.

Top 5 Ferrell

For my first real blog post I'd like to appeal to the masses with one of the greats when it comes to comedy.. Mr.Will Ferrell (born John William Ferrell). Going through my five favorite of his instant classic movies, I'd like to go ahead and start with the best, must see and go down from there.

1. Let us begin with the El Diablo of them all Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
Starring as a professional NASCAR driver, Ferrell gets knocked of his pedestal when he takes a fall in a race. While recovering his best friend (John C. Riley) takes over what is "Ricky Bobby". While Ferrell is at his all time low you can't help but laugh at the southern drawl of all the characters and what he does to get back on his feet. The quotes in this movie are not perhaps the most common but after watching, you'll recognize why your friends southern accents come out when they've been drinking.  Shake' n' Bake.

2. Secondly we go to Step-Brothers the most commonly quoted Ferrell movie by far! When two single parents fall in love and get married they have no choice but to move in together.. bringing with each of their 30 year old sons.. Will Ferrell and John C. Riley. These two men have never really grown up and have a preschool hatred for each other until they find common ground of hating the same person. Sharing fancy sauce a bedroom and then finding jobs together, the boys go from enemies to best friends and back. (fun fact: the name of this blog comes from this movie)

3. Next we have perhaps the most sexist of the Ferrell movies.. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. A wildly popular film in which Ron and his co-workers' lives at channel four news station are turned upside down when a female joins the news-team. With raunchy humor there are numerous moments where you will laugh at the shear stupidity/simple-mindedness of the cast and jokes. Also highly quoted, the following of this film was large enough to produce a second one... which was not as good.. like at all.

4. Fourth we have an instant classic that families love.. Elf!! Just as funny as his other films, Ferrell is a human raised by elves who leaves the North Pole for New York City to find his father during the  Christmas season. With the body of a grown man and the mindset of a ten year old, Buddy the elf tries to find where he belongs in life without being a cotton-headed-ninny-muggings.. This movie is all over TV around the holiday season and is beyond loved by many generations.

5. Lastly in the Top-5 Ferrell we have an under appreciated film, The Other Guys. Hysterical from beginning to end, Ferrell plays a keep-to-himself character who loves his desk job as a cop. While his partner (the one and only Markey Mark) tries to get him to take the reigns as lead detective, Will pushes to do things his own way. Driving his Prius and having a 'plain' wife he goes in and out to his past as a pimp that increases the hilarity throughout the movie. This film is definitely one to have on DVD in your collection... if not to watch then to impress other people with your amazing taste.
